Technology involves systems, sometimes very simple ones, and at
other times very complex ones, and everything else in between. Systems are
human-developed organization of subsystems or components that interact to
achieve a goal. Systems use feedback to better achieve their goals. Systems are
hierarchical. They exist in the context of supra-systems which can also be
considered to form the system environment. Systems consist of subsystem or
components that work together to achieve the system’s goal.
